Draw With Me!
It is still freezing cold out, but I'm itching to draw from nature, so I'm making it happen. Philly Nature Journaling Club is starting up in a couple weeks and class registration is open for some fun new classes I'm teaching this Spring. Let's plan some drawing time! These are welcoming, inclusive, and generous spaces for you to explore the natural world through creative expression.

Philly Nature Journaling Club
The Academy of Natural Sciences
Saturday, February 22, 10am-11:30pm
Join us for the re-launch of the Philly Nature Journaling Club (PNJC)! For February, we are meeting for free at the Academy of Natural Sciences on Saturday February 22nd from 10am to 11:30am. The diaramas in the Academy provide a beautiful array of natural environments to observe, draw, and be inspired by. PNJC is a loosely organized group that journals out in nature together monthly. We ask that you fill out this form so we know how many people plan to attend.

Nature Journaling Series at Tyler Arboretum
515 Painter Road, Media, PA 19063
Fridays, April 4, 11, 18, 25, 10am - 12pm
In this more focused and guided series of classes, I will be leading folks through many nature journaling tools and excerises that help us connect more deeply with the world around us. Utilizing our inner scientists, writers, and artists, we will learn to capture the intricate details we find. These four classes will provide an encouraging and supportive atmosphere to learn the tools and techniques for observing, recording, and sketching our surroundings at Tyler Arboretum. Each class will explore a new area in the Arboretum and will introduce students to new skills. Participants can sign up for a single class or enroll in the full 4-class series for a deeper dive into the subject.
Sign up for one class or the whole series! Each class will focus on different skills to bring your pages to life.
